Straight Talk

As we commemorate the supper Jesus shared with His disciples before His crucifixion, let us remember His acts of service. Jesus took time to wash the disciples feet. Footwashing is a powerful symbolic response to the Word. It symbolized Jesus willingness to be a servant to all, including the one who betrayed Him. When we become followers of Christ, we accept His command to love our neighbors. That may mean symbolically washing their feet or serving them in other ways. As you celebrate the crucifixion, death, and resurrection of Christ, ask Him how He wants you to serve/love your neighbor. Blessings Pastor Stephania
